ISTE Student Chapter had organized a talk on "The Blockchain: The Technology Behind Bitcoin" by Prof. Santhosh Kumar D. K., Assistant Professor, Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering, Canara Engineering College at Shambhavi Seminar Hall on 25 February 2020 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. Mr. Abhishek S. Rao, Asst. Professor, Dept. of ISE introduced the speaker and welcomed the gathering. Prof. Kumar highlighted on the various topics like Blockchain or Cryptocurrency, Cryptography and its types, Nodes and hashing in Blockchain, Architecture and types, Ethereum, Hyperledger, and Smart Contract Case studies. This talk helped students in getting exposed to newer technologies and opportunities in the area of blockchain technology
